Sugar Valley Rally Day 1 2010
This trip to Nebraska I did the Sugar Valley Rally with Jeff. He was the driver and I was his navigator in his 1949 Dodge Wayfarer Coupe. The first day was pretty uneventful. Jeff picked me up from the airport in Scottsbluff and we went to the hotel and checked in and unloaded the car from the trailer. We than took it up to the WNCC auto shop for a quick safety inspection so they could make sure all the lights and horn worked. After getting our registration packet and free pizza we took the car out to do a speed test with a GPS so we would know where the correct speeds were on the speedometer. We than drove to the east side of town to do the speedo calibration given to us by the SVR to see how close our speedometer was for the actually rally.
